Leading space and satellite company / manufacturer is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a growing team working on cutting edge products, due for space launch next year and beyond.

What you’ll do:

• Perform mechanical analysis of spacecraft structures
• Analyse (with FEM) resistance of the spacecraft structures against mechanical and thermo-elastic loads
• Define mechanical tests, supervise their execution and evaluate their results
• Define / manage technical requirements for sub-contractors
• Cooperate with mechanical designers and other engineers in order to develop a complete product

What you’ll need:

• At least 3 years of experience in structures engineering;
• Master degree in aircraft/space engineering, engineering mechanics or other equivalent degree
• An interest in subjects like math, physics, statics, dynamics and strength of the structures
• Familiar with finite element method (FEM)
• Actively using some of the analysis software (Ansys, Nastran, Abaqus or others)
• Passive or active skills in programming
• Sincere interest in aerospace / space
